Pastor Evan Langlois and Family

Senior Pastor evan langlois

Pastor Evan grew up in Winsted, CT and came to faith in Christ when he was 17 years old through the ministry of Praise Christian Fellowship. In 1998, Evan graduated from The Gilbert School and began his college career at the University of Connecticut, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. After his graduation from UConn, God led Evan to attend the Lutheran Brethren Seminary in Fergus Falls, MN where he graduated with a Masters of Divinity in 2007. God called Evan to return to Connecticut where he served as the Pastor of Outreach and Discipleship at Bethany Lutheran Brethren Church from 2007 until 2020. In the spring of 2020, God saw it fit to lead Evan and his family back to Praise where he accepted the call to serve as their senior pastor.

Evan is married to his wife, Beth and they have four children, Leah, Eddie, Grady, and Lydia. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching sports, riding mountain bikes (especially with his kids), carpentry and working with wood. Evan loves to laugh and to spend time with people and especially enjoys helping others to know Christ and to know Him more deeply!
